This professional workshop is a comprehensive overview of the ground-breaking evidence-based principles of Compassion Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, and Self-Compassion with special emphasis on Substance Abuse! Over the course of the workshop, the central role of compassion in daily experience will also be explored and related to the very foundations of human learning, thinking and being. You will learn both theory and technique, with confidence that you will immediately be able to use Mindfulness and Self-Compassionate interventions with clients. The focus will be conceptual, experiential, and practical. Mindfulness techniques will be clearly explained, experienced, and integrated into the moment-to-moment therapy process.

    Becoming Open, Aware, and Engaged
  • Learn grounding meditation exercises to clear the mind and become at ease.
